Kevin Kunishi's work has been recognized by numerous organizations and publications including The New Yorker, The Sunday Telegraph, VICE and American Photo Magazine.

Ben Linder was an American volunteer building a small hydroelectric dam in rural northern Nicaragua when he was ambushed and killed by Contra rebels in 1987. The below photo was taken the day after Dia de los Muertos 2010 and is from the 'Los Restos de la RevoluciĆ³n' series:
